Clarity Before You Begin

Have questions? You’ll find clear answers in the FAQ.

Your questions answered

1 / What can I expect during my first foundation session?

Your first session is a complete, grounded experience focused entirely on you.

There is time to arrive — with a warm cup of tea — allowing your body and breath to settle before we begin. Nothing starts abruptly. This space honors transition.

We then move into a gentle conversation to understand what feels present in your life and in your body.

From there, the session unfolds intuitively, combining embodied awareness and gentle body-work.

2 / Do I need to prepare anything?

You don’t need to prepare in a special way.

Simply arrive as you are.

Comfortable clothing is recommended.

Before our session, you will receive an email with the consent and intake forms. I kindly ask you to complete these in advance so we can use our time together fully and intentionally.

If anything feels unclear beforehand, you are always welcome to reach out.

3 / What if I feel emotional during a session?

Emotions are met with respect, space, and time.

Sometimes the body carries what the mind has long managed. When something softens, it can naturally move.

You are always supported at your own pace.

Nothing is forced.

Everything unfolds within safety and attentive presence.

4 / What if I need to cancel or reschedule?

Life happens, and I understand that plans can shift.

At the same time, this space is prepared with care and intention. I kindly ask for at least 24 hours’ notice if you need to reschedule, so the time can be offered to someone else.

Honoring our appointments supports a foundation of mutual respect and commitment — which is an important part of the work itself.

5 / How do I know if Connectsisouls is right for me?

This space may resonate if you value depth, embodiment, honesty, and inner responsibility.

If you are looking for quick fixes, pressure-based transformation, or someone to tell you what to do, this may not be the right approach.

Both the complimentary introductory call and the exploration session are designed to help you sense whether this work feels aligned for you. They offer a grounded first experience, without pressure — simply clarity.

You are always free to choose what feels right for you

6 / What qualifications support the work at Connectsisouls, and how does
it differ from medical or psychological care?

Connectsisouls is a holistic, non-medical practice.

I hold a Master’s degree and completed a Higher Professional Education (HBO) diploma in Malva Therapy in the Netherlands — a practice-oriented qualification comparable to a U.S. professional bachelor-level training.  My work is grounded in structured training, professional experience, and years of dedicated personal development.

Medical and psychological care are designed to diagnose and treat specific conditions. Connectsisouls operates in a complementary domain. I do not diagnose, provide clinical treatment, or replace licensed healthcare providers.

My work is body-centered and guided, and includes working with the energetic systems of the body as understood within Malva Therapy and related holistic traditions. Through gentle touch, focused awareness, and regulation-based support, I help restore balance within the nervous system and energetic field. The intention is to support integration, resilience, and the body’s innate capacity for healing, restoration, and a natural return to balance.

7 / Is this work based on a specific belief system, and do I need certain
     beliefs to benefit from it?

No. You do not need to hold any particular beliefs for this work to resonate.

Connectsisouls is not tied to a religion or doctrine. It simply approaches the human experience as more than physical — honoring body, mind, emotions, and soul as interconnected.

Some people naturally describe their experience here as spiritual. Others experience it as deeply grounding, clarifying, or restorative. Both are welcome.

You are never asked to adopt language or ideas that do not feel natural to you. We work with what is real and tangible: your body, your nervous system, your lived experience, and the patterns shaping your life.

If you value depth, reflection, and a sense of connection — whether you call that faith, intuition, meaning, or simply awareness — this work can meet you where you are.

This space remains grounded, embodied, and practical, even as it acknowledges the deeper layers that shape who we are.

8 / How does pricing work, and are sessions covered by insurance?

At this time, sessions are not covered by health insurance. Connectsisouls is a holistic, non-medical practice, and sessions are privately paid.

The work is structured in three phases to allow depth and integration. You may choose to move through them step by step or book multiple series together if that feels supportive. There is no pressure to commit beyond what feels aligned for you.

For those navigating transitional or vulnerable phases, a limited number of supportive-rate spaces are available. These are offered mindfully and temporarily, based on self-assessment and mutual trust.  The regular rate reflects the time, presence, experience, and careful holding of space before, during, and after each session, allowing the work to unfold with depth and integration.
