LIFE HEALING

Trauma, Grief, Mourning

The emotional pain of traumatic experiences can be so overwhelming that we cannot give it a place and push it away, and consequently it is encapsulated by our body.

Circumstances that can lead to a traumatic experience: Serious traffic accident | Death of a loved one or animal | Divorce | Emotional - physical - sexual abuse | Prolonged neglect or manipulation | Indoctrination from upbringing....

Traumatic experiences affect body and mind and hinder further growth on a soul level. If you want to heal your trauma and find some form of meaning about what happened to you, to put it in a larger context of personal or spiritual growth than the life healing program may be for you.

A common response to our emotional pain is flight, numbing or avoidance. We shut ourselves off from our feelings and go into our heads, looking for solutions to make us feel differently.  But every time something happens in our lives that is associated with a traumatic experience, we feel, think and act based on that original trauma.  Our reactive (unconscious) mind kicks in and bypasses logical thinking (conscious mind) to protect us.  The result is a stress reaction in the body.

Healing doesn't mean the damage or loss
never existed,
it means
the painful experience no longer controls our lives.

Trauma that you do not transform forms an energetic blockage.

The painful memories are a part of you; they are present every day, dormant or overwhelming.   Repressing, numbing or avoiding them takes a tremendous amount of energy. This continuous tension creates blockages in the energetic system.   By suppressing emotions, you maintain them and they remain in control of you.  Patterns and beliefs such as “I have to be strong / don't act like this / there are others who have been through much worse things” stem from fear and take us further from our path.  As long as our body cannot discharge the stored tension, it is difficult to move forward in life.  If we are not to keep getting stuck in the same emotion, understanding - insight and acceptance is needed.

Understanding > Insight > Acceptance > Letting go

Accepting emotions, both your own and others', is healing and has a positive impact on your relationships.  Accepting means that we give the emotion a right to exist, understand it and do not identify ourselves with it.   When we know which unprocessed experiences the emotion refers to, we can begin to process and release the emotion.  This prevents it from lingering any longer in our energetic system.  In order to let go, we must first allow.

You have to feel it, to heal it.

>>> Depositing emotions unprocessed in the body blocks energy flow and suppresses our immune system.<<<
